Re: [ST] Life out there?

I've been quiet as my track addiction is taking hold of me....

Subsequent to last Monday's run at Pocono Raceway, I was up at BeaveRun Motorsports park outside of Pittsburgh this past Saturday. A nice high-speed track that really benefits from good late braking. Passing zones are few unless you trust the rider next to you, as the straights have kinks and you are moving across the track a lot at high speed (so you need to know you won't spook the rider next to you, that he won't run you wide or pinch you in a kink). I had a good time learning that track, and will be back.

Now I'm prepping for this weekend (yes, back to the track again). This time a little closer to home - heading back to the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point, WV. I'll have finally have two weeks off after this weekend before heading to the big tracks in August: Pocono's Formula USA circuit, Summit Point's Main circuit, and then VIR's North and South circuits on a double-header Sunday/Monday at the end of August.

This sport is consuming me......

Oh, and to keep everyone up to date on my saved high-sides, had much smaller incident this past weekend. Similar in that I got on the throttle coming out of a carousel, started to slide the rear end, but this time was much smoother off the throttle and planted my toe into the track to keep up right. Ended up losing drive out of the turn, but no big incident :-) Getting better at pushing the limits.

I was wondering the same thing, it has been pretty quiet lately.

So, as it is Ride to Work day, did anyone notice any increase in the number of m'cycles? I certainly did not and the two that usually park in the same space as me didn't ride in today.

Sorry Marc, I cannot help you with the blinkers.

I'm not sure if my mail is on the Fritz - it seems to be very quite out
there.

Here's a question: I want to change my flickers for something less
bulky. My Daytona uses the same ones as the '04/ 05 RS I had.

I have found a set (non-LED) that look good, but they have different
connecters. The connecters on the flickers are female, and the ones on
the wiring harness are male.

I'd like to fit the same connecters as on the Triumph ones, so I don't
have to muck with the wiring harness, and so that I can change back
without too much hassle.

Everywhere I go here I get a blank look and a shrug of the shoulders -it
seems the connecters are not the ones normally used.

Anyone know what they are called and where I could find them on-line?

Thanks
