I just found the UK site for checking on recalls and don't remember it
being mentioned here.

http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp allows you to
search any make and model.

For those with too much time on their hands, there are VINs present
that might fit in a database that could be searched!!!

It certainly produced a tidy list for the RS.

PS. Confession time.  I earlier reported using two sets of front pads
up to 19k miles.  My error.  The dealer replaced them and I made him
take them out again and they're still on the shelf.  So it's one set of
pads to 19k and needing to be replaced soon.  That agrees better with
other submissions made here.
