[ST] No so good

Hi all,

Its been a terrible month for crashes.

*Chris : relative of a good friend died after losing control -he was showing off and got a tank slapper after landing a wheelie
*Heide : a friend who has only been on big bikes for a year, wrote off her CBR600 and broke an ankle plus various minor injuries after high siding the bike - looks like she made a mistake and panicked.
*A friend of a good friend wiped himself out in the Rooi Els road and died
*John , who I've ridden with a few times and is a well know and experienced rider, was taken out by a car and is in Hospital with serious injuries. His friend hit by the same car died on the scene.
*Two well know bike testers -Simon and Howie for local bike magazines are recovering from broken bones after being taken out by cars in separate accidents.

On top of it I had a near miss two weekends ago in the Franchise pass after hitting something slippery and having to run wide to get the back end back under control. I missed a car pulling a boat by less than a meter, too close by far.

Take it easy out there and keep the shiny side up.
