Re: [ST] Soon to be New Owner questions

Now I know a got a decent deal, but I just purchased another ST (black 2000) back in September. 8,500 miles, Race-teched front end, Sargent and stock seat, Triumph heated grips, stock and Triumph Performance exhaust, Scott-oiler, side panniers, rear luggage rack, Sky King mirror extenders, Genmar bar risers, NWS rear hugger, NWS and stock gear shifters, tires with less than a 1,000 miles on them, Carbon fiber tank guard - and he gave me the Triumph Service Manual (not the little one that comes with the bike). Paid $4700 or $4750 (can't remember) in Virginia.

Given the year, mileage and lack of equipment, I would say it sounds like a decent bike and that the $2800 to $3400 mark is about right.

My guess is it's worth about $3000 since it needs the 24K mile service. If it didn't need several hundred dollars worth of wrenching, then $3500 would be my guess.
