Re: [ST] Fast Lane or - EZ Pass transponder mounting

Now there is an idea - I wonder if that is big enough to fit on the upper
arm? A lot of times there will be a trooper standing at the tolls and I
have seen them pull people over who go through and it is clear that there
isn't a transponder on their windshield, so this would eliminate that risk
and they could see it on your arm.

Thanks for the link to the forum thread - I will check it out.

Subject: Re: [ST] Fast Lane or - EZ Pass transponder mounting

I usually stuff mine into the map window of my tank bag and have not had any
problems. The Triumph map pocket is removable and velcros onto the mounted
base, so if I dont want the whole bag, I still have the map pocket with my
EZ pass. But since I am in the process of relocating to VA where it is
likely that my commute will involve up to three tolls and I am thinking of
one of these:

The Ez Pass works on a radio transmitter basis that receives a "call" to
turn it on, it reads/deducts and then turns off.

There is a thread on ST-N that talks about this too.

In this thread I recall someone mounting it within the fairing on their
FJR.
