I may not be anal, but I do think that you should check you air pressures a little more frequently than three years - cars and motorcycles both.  Nothing crazy, but every once in a while.  It's just smart.  I've definitely had the odd wheel on one of my cars or motorcycles a little too low.  Just happens.  And it's a little known fact that underinflated tires are much more prone to blow-out than over-inflated.
 
I don't mean to get personal, I'm not saying that you are stupid, but I would suggest checking them a bit more often.

Ok. Now you are just getting ignorant and personal. Just because you like to check your tire pressure with a lab grade measuring device every 2 blocks, it does not make the rest of us that may not be so anal, idiots.  And I have no idea what this "old" tire thing is. I have a 58 jaguar mark 2 that has the same white wall tires on it it's had for the last 12 years, during which they have seen less than 1k miles. They still hold air fine, have no cracks or feel hardned or rotten.  I do not imagine tha the 3 year old tires on my bike are in any danger of rotting to dust any time soon. Do you really believe that modern tires have the shef life so short? What are they made of, milk? If they looked cracked, had low thread or had problems holding air, or if I left my bike out on the lawn uncovered on the driveway sitting on puddle of paint stripper the whole winter, maybe I would worry. But seriously, some tires spend more than that on a shelf before thay are even sold. Funny

t put air on the tires earlier, and they were at 32 front and 35 back.  If I walk to my bike and there is fluid on the floor, or like I said earlier, feels funny when I move it or  if it makes weird noises or smells funny, or if its using too much oil, etc... then I would worry. But I think that otherwise i'm in no more danger than anyone else riding that day.  I have seen people lately riding sport bikes on the cords. That seems more like dangerous to me. But in the mean time ill enjoy my ride.
