The new 1050 filter is definitely different from the
old 955 one.  For that matter the entire air-box
design is quite different from older sprints, as the
air scoop leading directly to the box is forward
facing just under the front fairing.  I guess as a
sort of ram-air attempt.  K&N has not come out with a
replacement yet, however I have found one from BMC
online.  You can search it out at bmcairfilters.com. 
Yet when I was in at the dealer the other week and
tried to order one, the distributor didn't have any in
stock .... so I went with the stock Triumph filter.  I
may try to order one again before the next scheduled
service.
