Even though you got the info you needed, FYI, I use Hi Flo HF-191 oil filter on my 2000 RS.

Hey, I'm returning to the list with after being away with "other 
brands" for a while. I have an old newbie question.  I regularly used 
honda filters on my 955. My new bike is a 1050. What alternative 
filters fit.  Is it the same filter as the 955 or something different 
and what is currently being used.
