Same here.  I'm a big lad (if that makes a difference) and it pings like
mad
if I use 89 so I always use the higher rating in both my ST and S3 and
its
fine in both with the higher octane.

My 2002 Sprint RS pings on 89 if I open it up on an uphill corner. Just 
tried running a tank of 89 this morning and it still pings. Switched
back to

premium (91, 92 whatever) and it's fine.
