Topspeed over 300 km/h, fuel economy at 90 km/h an amazing
25 km per liter. Their new monotracer, pdf is 1.4 mb:

Another (new) Peraves creation is the Peraves Superball engine,
currently installed in a Yamaha Majesty YP400 doing testruns.
It's a 4 stroke internal combustion engine running on RON95
automotive gas (regular), firing sequence every 180 degrees,
similar to 4 cilinder engine. It has a high power density with
less weight, compact with smaller dimensions, simply construction
with only 3 moving parts, production costs which are 50% lower,
smooth turbine like running, same power at half the RPM, so less
wear and longer engine life. Very interesting concept:

Video 47mb explains how it works:

Finally something genuinly new on the piston engine front,
hope it will do better than the (rotary) Wankel engine
(although that might make a come back through Mazda).
