Re: [ST] Rumors and Warnings

Sounds like a good argument for aftermarket seats that tend to have less
of a peak in the middle. More like the current bicycling seats.

Or I could be full of crap... :0)

Subject: [ST] Rumors and Warnings

Lifted from the Euro Ramblings column of Motorcycle-USA web site.

Talking of rapid motorcycles, it is reported that a bike similar to
the Triumph Daytona 1300 has been seen testing on roads near the
Midlands factory. The prototype bike was believed to have been
crushed after external consultants convinced Triumph that a Hayabusa-
beating Superbike was not the way forward as it was likely to
receive adverse publicity. Maybe there has been a change of heart
after Kawasaki launched its ZX-14 without any adverse reaction!

Meanwhile, the Triumph factory has issued a recall on thousands of
2006 Speed Triples, Sprint STs and Daytona 955i models. It would
appear that there is a potential for a bolt to snap on the rear
brake caliper, allowing it to break free from its mounting and cause
damage to the swingarm.

And the warning...((FWIW))

And Finally a Warning!
According to research by doctors in Okinawa Japan, male
motorcyclists are more likely to become impotent than non-biking
males. Apparently, 69% of their sample had erectile dysfunction
caused by pressure and vibration in a bike's seat that reduces the
blood supply to the genital area. I make no comment!
