The Triumph bags may look nice, but are really not very good: they  
all leak like crazy it seems (mine certainly do), and they have a  
fiddly locking arrangement.  Also, when the panniers are on the bike,  
it is almost impossible to get the seat off - someone posted a mod to  
move the seat-lock to get around this.  But for OEM kit, these are  
poor features.

Givi panniers have an advantage in that they are waterpoof, and have  
a sensible key arrangement.  Emile posted details of how he mounted  
his (on an ST, but sounds like this not an issue) using some third- 
party frames - they fit neatly and look pretty good.  He posted

If I could, I'd put the Givi system on instead, but stuck with the  
ones I have...
