Re: [ST] Builder's Toast

The problem with all these kinds of things is that rich people have the
resources and contacts and know-how to weather these storms. It takes
time but he will re-bound in some way. Again...look at Stewart and (on a
similar note) Kate Moss. She was photographed snorting cocaine with her
douche-bag boyfriend and she was dropped like a hot potato(e) BUT I was
reading the other day that he now has more contracts, for more money that
before the photo was published.

I just hate this side of society - the cult of the
'celebrity'/'personality' - people lap it up as shown by the crap TV
programs on over here on virtually all major channels at 7 PM - total and
utter tripe.

Tom Cruise has already begun his 're-habilitation' When was the last time
you saw him on TV being stupid (he even apologized to Brooke Shields was
it ?). He is merely lying low...he will be back. There is simply too
much money involved for a lot of people for him to be allowed to fade
away.

Time is the great 'healer' (said totally with tongue in cheek).

Cheers...

But then again - he depends on us for products sold. Ultimately it is your
pocket book that will decide his future. Also TV stations tend to shy away
from high profile negative press. Look at Tom Cruise - and he didn't kill
anybody...
