Hey Richard...I live in MA so there are a few places to ride out here
(some of them...legal even :)  NH has a ton more, CT has some so I have to
truck my dirt bike but I can live with that - takes me 20 mins to load all
my stuff and go and while my bike is 'street-legal' I would  rather not
explain the lack of signal indicators to a fine officer of the law :)

Don't get me wrong, I still love a nice long sweeper on the street, BUT
the constant lookout for LEO's and other drivers/riders etc. just gets
annoying after a bit.  As an added bonus, riding dirt is also an
incredible workout so I don't feel quite as guilty drinking beer the night
before.

YMMV of course.

You mean you have a place to ride dirt?  I thought those nut balls in
California set court precedence by stopping some MX start from riding on
his own property.

So lets see.  We can't ride on public property.  We can't ride on our own
property.  The police here in FLA bought ATV's to catch people riding
(where they call illegal) because there is'nt anywhere to ride.

Screw them.

Flying around a long sweeper (on a race track), dragging a knee going 100+
MPH is more fun anyway.

I'm with you Joel on the dirt-bike thing.  I have been doing a lot more
dirt than street this year and LOVING it.  30 MPH on the dirt can be WAY
more exciting than 100 MPH on the street...  Still, I did a camp weekend
on my ST the other week and had a blast and was reminded again what a
simply fantastic bike it is.
