I still think you should ride the Duc at least a little....

Which I imagine would start with getting everything in working
order.  I'm no expert, but I imagine a bike that's been sitting
in someone's house for 30 years might not be in perfect running
order.

But who am I to talk?  I have a 40-year-old bike in pieces in my
living room right now, with no intention of ever riding it when
I get it back together.
