Code P1105 is "Manifold absolute pressure sensor pipe malfunction.
The manual suggests that you "check connection/condition of pipe from
MAP sensor to throttle body." The MAP sensor is attached to the top
of the airbox and has a hose running to the intake manifold, which I
think you'll find is disconnected. The big vacuum leak is causing it
to not idle, and the MAP sensor reading atmospheric pressure is
setting the code.
My K&N doesn't fit all that well either, but it runs fine. The back
edge should be straight, but it is curved. By tightening the screws
from the front I got the back tab to mostly line up with the hole, so
I think it's fitting ok but it's a little disappointing. The shop I
got it from said that the first K&N filters fit well but the later
ones don't, so it sounds like a pretty widespread problem.

Changed the plugs and air filter (K&N TB-1005) ; now the bike will not hold idle. The error code from tuneboy is P1105. I have downloaded the latest tune and the issue persists. The K&N air filter does not seat properly but fit into the airbox. I have ordered a new Triumph filter but have to wait a week until it comes in. Has anyone else had this issue with idle or K&N filters not fitting?
