Mine came with one ( not sure which make )- after six weeks I cut the wires and threw it in the garage. Half the time it showed the wrong number or was flashing displaying nothing more numeric than a dash. 
 
I tucked the wire wrapped in tape in the top of the fairing - don't waste your money in my opinion!

Anyone here fitted a digital gear position indicator (such as Datatool) to 
their Sprint?

Looks simple enough enough and will end fishing for 7th gear.
