[ST] Oil level

I've had my ST for about 8 months now. I changed the
oil myself once, and it was level and on the center
stand. I put in 4.5 qts? (I don't remember now.) - I
put in enough oil to read 1/2 way up the site glass,
level on the centerstand.

I took it to a Triumph dealer to have the oil changed
the second time (and last) and I've been riding around
on it for the past 2 or 3 months now. I looked at the
site glass and it's full-up. When it's on the side
stand the oil is just less than 1/4 the way up the
site glass.
So when I go to change it again, how do I measure how
much to put in?
