Re: [St] Gas Tank Expansion?

Forgot to mention, I'm in Houston and the shop I took it to and my garage were roughly the same temp (i.e. open shop and unheated garage). Temp during that time period was around 70 F.

I'm not an engineer, but I wouldn't expect that there would be much expansion in a range of what would be at most 10 degrees F and I'm guessing that it wasn't even that much of a diff. I could be wrong though.

FWIW, the shop said they had to wrestle with it too.> Date: Mon, 3 Dec 2007 12:03:45 -0800> From: zpavlakovich@xxxxxxxxx> To: ST@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [St] Gas Tank Expansion?> > Leave the tank for a day with the bike in the same environment, cold> garage, so both are the same temperature, and try it again.> > On Dec 3, 2007 11:52 AM, chris warren <cdub35@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
