Re: [ST] Newbie Questions for aftermarket headlights, horns, and heated grips ...

I have the Triumph heated grips on my ST, and the aftermarket Dual-Star
heaters on my KLR after getting spoiled by having them on the ST. The
Triumph heaters come on a lot quicker to where you can feel them within
about a minute of turning them on. The Dual-Star heaters take about 5
minutes before you start to feel them.

Blake Sobiloff, who also was familiar with the ST grips, has a
different brand on his KLR, but he noticed the same thing with his.

So if you have cold mornings and you want heat now, I'd go with the
Triumph kit.
