The first real streeter I purchased was n '81 Yamaha 650 Special.  You 
know, that copy of a well known British standard.  But it started a 
helluva lot better, even though I seemed to constantly mess up the starter 
button so glad it had a kicker.  Had a habit of bad rotor (electrical) too 
so it saved the day on many a low battery start.  I got in the habit of 
kicking it just cuz I could.  That was always fun until the time I kicked 
and kicked until I tipped over - it didn't know it but it saved me from a 
drunken stooper ride. I was young and stupid then!  Many fond memories and 
first long rides...
