If all valves turn out to be in spec, then there should not be much time
difference between checking shim under bucket vs. shim over bucket engines.
If you need to replace a shim, it is much easier with shim over bucket
(older engine) because you do not have to remove the cams when you use the
special Triumph tool. For shim under bucket engine there is no such tool
and cams must always be removed for shim replacement.
I suspect that this is probably what you meant to say :-)
