You may also consider, when you install the rack, to but the bolts in upside down.  So the nut side is facing up.  This makes it much easier to remove the rack if  you would like to remove it.  (i.e. removing the plastic tail section).

Have fun installing it, it can be a buggar to get installed.  Especially if you already have the side bags racks installed.

BTW, this is for the older style Sprints, I don't know what the issues are if any with the newer ones.

Where do these brackets go ? I dont remember getting
them with the unit I bought on ebay, but mine mounts
just fine. ( Havent had to attach much weight though..
)
