Re: [ST] Stebel horn

yes, i actually bought the kit from twisted throttle already and hooked it up. i also switched out the relay. i also noticed the wiring diagram from twisted throttle was incorrect, hence with i pushed the button nothing happened. then when it was hooked up correctly all i would here was a click in the relay. i then purchased another relay and voltmeter to check the voltage. voltage was fine, switched the relay still no luck. and i just got back from vacation and decided to test the horn by hooking directly the battery and the horn maybe a very low sound, so i am thinking the horn is bad. on a side note i remember some people replaced the clips and screws for the seat, what are people using on the 05+ sprints.

Yes, you a need a relay with this horn. It needs too much power to be
switched with the handlebar switch. You will fry it eventually.
TwistedThrottle offers a wiring harness including the relay and
adapter, which is well worth it.
