In my travels, I've received help several times that was above and 
beyond what I expected. That's basically how I responded when he asked 
me if he owed me anything. It's funny, when I've been on the receiving 
end it seemed odd that the helpers didn't even want some money for gas. 
But when you're helping it just doesn't seem right to ask for it.

A few of my own experiences:

When my Katana 750 lost a chain on Skyline Blvd. I was helped out by a 
guy who couldn't ride due to a recent crash, so he was out for the day 
with his van and trailer just looking for anybody that needed help. He 
gave me and my bike a ride back to San Jose.

My ST froze the rear wheel bearing in Ft. Bragg, which is two hours 
from Ferndale. I guy on a new Gold Wing stopped, gave me a ride back to 
Ferndale so I could get me truck and trailer, and then followed me back 
to help get it in the trailer.

After Blake's crash last summer at Capital Reef, we had several angels
