Re: [ST] Sooty suggestions?

Have you tried checking/cleaning the idle air intake stepper motor? Sounds like a very similaar problem I had with my RS. Turns out my air intake idle plunger was severly sooted and would not adjust properly for idle air intake. Once I took it off/apart and cleaned it with 90% rubbing alcohol using a cute tip, everything was back to the way it should be.

Andrew,
Replace all three plugs with new ones! You could have a fouled plug.
We spent about 4 months changing everything out on my sons 402 cu small
block with fuel injection. And I mean everything. Could not get it to
run right. Finally we changed out the (new) plugs and that solved the
problem.
