Re: [ST] Sooty suggestions?

A note of caution: posters on other lists [Trophy] have warned against
using Sea Foam as an additive for carb cleaning, as it may eat into
seals, etc, that were not designed for the very harsh marine
environment. I have used it for winterizing my 4-stroke boats [FI and
carb] with good results.

Filling every third tank or so with a fuel bearing the Techron FI
cleaner keeps my ST and other FI vehicles in good running order. That
comes in Chevron, Shell, or Exxon, and of course naught but 93 octane.
53-55 mpg [US] on a regular basis. As always, ymmv!

All that said, my ST _always_ has a sooty tailpipe, but burns no oil and
starts/runs great.
