Its not a sin to use an adjustable wrench, Matt.
Then you can always measure the opening so you make sure you buy the 
correct wrench for the next time.
Besides doesn't the triumph tool kit contain the correct size wrench, 
even the absolutely crappy tools in my Honda's kit has the correct 
size wrench for the oil plug
