Re: [ST] A Brotherhood

HI all

Think ive done this right. It’s the first time ive responded to anything

I had a near fatal in 95 an if I hadn’t bee wearin leathers an half decent
gear id be pushin up daisies now

Gonna get me some armoured camo trousers for the summer I think as bit
lighter than leather

It winds me up no end wen I see guys on bikes an the only protection they’ve
got is a helmet an that’s only coz they have to over here

Get covered up gravel rash aint pretty

Incidentally any one near my neck of the woods, Kyle of Lochalsh, Scottish
Highlands, always welcome for a cuppa tea/coffee

Ride safe folx ;-)

Onefut

Having watched my '69 Trophy throw sparks while my helmet bouncing down the
street like a ping pong ball with my head in it, I concur. If I'd had been
wearing a full face helmet and gloves, I would have risen without a scratch.
As it was, the old Bell open face and Harley jacket held the carnage to
quarter side scrapes on my chin and wrist.

Now it's a Sprint ST, full face helmet, armored fabric jacket, gloves and
jeans (still need some boots, any recommendations?) but the principle
remains he same. Don't leave home without protection and wear out all the
rubber!
