Other than my former Goldwing (which I didn't safety wire) I never resell my bikes, I ride them to their death.  that's probably why I never considered that side effect.

Which can have side effect at the time of reselling the bike. Drilled bolt is
a major clue to know if the bike was used for racing as it's mandatory for some
specific bike parts.
