[ST] Vedr. Re: ST questions, at least a couple

Hi

A non- authorized view from Norway, where the weather
is wet and the roads are slippery.

I have parked my good old Bimer (BMW K100RS 1990) with
ABS and are now riding a Triumph Tiger 03 and, when my
wife let my, her Triumph ST 00. I am very happy with
the change form German to British but I am missing the
ABS. The ABS technology on the old Bimers may not be
op to present standards, but it have saved me more
then ones?.

Go for the Triumph with ABS. (don?t think about the
Honda?? :-) )

Here in Norway new bikes (and cars as well) are
expensive, a new Triumph Sprint ST with ABS will cost
about 35.000,- US $ :-(

I'm new to this arena too and am presently looking at
purchasing either
an
ST (07 - new) or a VFR 800. Having spoken with a
friend of mine he
swears by
the ABS saying it has got him out of a number of close
calls and has
basically paid for itself 3 times over. So, certainly
if I do get the
ST
I'll spend the extra $1000 and get the ABS...
