Heya John,

We do have "flash to pass" switches, little trigger switches on the left housing 
  for the index finger.  The "Euro" housing mentioned is likely a right side 
with a headlight switch, meaning you can turn headlights off.

What irks me is the removal of the 4-way hazard switch that blinked all the 
markers...my '99 had it, the '03 does not. Boooo.
