Compressing the brake lever overnight is a bandaid measure at best.

If there is air in the lines, the pressure just dissolves it back into the 
fluid. When released the bubbles form again.

The fix is to clean the caliper pistons and bleed the system.

I've just accepted this as part of the regular maintenence of the bike.
