12v LED? A LED is around 1 V as far as I know. If you want a 15 mA 
current youhave to solder a 820 Ohms to it for instance.

Fred, what I think he was referring to are the LEDs that are already 
prewired for a 12V application, with the resistor in-line.  I know 
Radioshack and a few other places carry these for people who know 
nothing about LEDs.
