[St] List postings

Some time ago there was discussion about the round-trip time for some
postings to make it back to posters.

My mail server was down for a couple of weeks while I changed ISPs a
few months back and my subscription to this list got disabled due to the
bounced emails.  Having re-enabled it some weeks ago, I am now getting
deluged with stuff from August and July most of which is out of sequence
and consequently impossible to follow.  I'm not complaining because I'm
part of this computer software lark so have to share the blame but
others might like to make sure they behave better than me if they want
to live a fulfilled life!

At the same time, stuff I'm posting (and my mail server says has been
delivered) is not appearing for hours. But then maybe others have got
them.

No I'm not paranoid.  I SAID I'M NOT PARANOID OKAY!?
