Re: [St] Track is Safer

Sounds like Negligent Homicide, or something similar. It sickens me anyone has to die because someone else was doing something stupid.

Yet another reminder that you can assume nothing about other drivers behavior.

Eyes open, mind focused.

Subject: [St] Track is Safer

Regardless of individual opinion the race track has got to be safer than the street. This guy raced MotoGP and Japan Superbike with a career spanning 10 years, and gets snuffed on the street by some idiot making an illegl U-turn. Un-freaking real!

Pushing traction, man, and machine to the edge on a race track may seem dangerous and crazy and even life threatening. Maybe it is. But at least there aren't any one ton + vehicles to kill you. That's because it's the sudden stop into something imovable that's the real killer.
