Oh yes the old pounding shoulder from the brass plate and the bleeding nose 
for anyone thats never fired an old .303 before. Thats a great trick to play.

Another old favourite is to remove the small strands of cordite from the 
shell and carefully insert a few into a cigarette. Depending on how much you like 
the person depends on how many you use with a direct impact on how funny the 
results are.
