Re: [St] Speedo Issues

Takes a long time to get a bike to stop at those speeds.

Even at 200 Kph you are peering over the edge of the screen, the vibration
is making it hard to focus clearly and you start to get the "tunnel vision"
effect.

It just takes a brick in the road, or a drunk pedestrian stumbling into the
road off some farm and there's going to be trouble.

Chances of getting caught here are slim if you avoid their favourite spots.
If you do get caught you wont enjoy the experience, SA jails are among the
most dangerous in the world, any kind of sentence could turn into something
much worse real easy.

I've done some silly speeds, I once topped out the Daytona on a public road
miles from anywhere , but these days I just let the loonies go.

I prefer blasting through the twistys and just enoying myself.

Every now and then I do a track day, but I havnt done one since I wiped out
last year on the KLR and spent three months on crutches.

I think I've lost my invincible coating - dont bounce to well anymore.

happens as you head past 40.............

cheers
