Re: [St] 675 Tiger

No offense taken Paul,
Everyone (especially in a forum this broad) is more than welcome to their opinions.
I don't really dislike the DR (in fact, if I had the scratch, and a place to use it I'd probably own one).
My best biker bud Dave (and definitely an individual with more dollars than sense if you know what I mean) just added one to his fleet. He lives in Boise now and he plans to take full advantage of the DR's highway and off road combination. He added it to an MV F4 1000, an FJR, and he's got deposits on both the 1078 Brutale and the new V-Max. I keep pestering him to try a Speed Triple, but he doesn't like the seat height.
I like to stir the pot on occasion, and I really think that if we make enough noise in these forums that the folks that build the gear will hear us.

I'm in the middle of getting ready to ride a long week in the Spanish and French Pyrenees with Dave. We're doing the Edelweiss tour. I'm riding a Multistrada, he's taking an ST3.

OK, fair enough. I didn't mean to make it sound antagonizing. I am a
Triumph guy, I'm musing over getting a 650 as a dual sport bike (not
as an "off road only" bike).

I sincerely doubt I would ever ride a 650 two-up except in an abnormal
situation (e.g. transporting another biker after a breakdown).
