Re: [St] MOT for Imported Sprint ST from California to UK

I had to register an old GSX400F for my Daughter, this was an import from Italy.
You need to get it MOTed first.
The lights can be solved in the short time by using black tape if necessary, probably will not be necessary as the lights do not appear to dip to the side.
Once you have the MOT you can apply for a British registration document, (V5C).
You may be asked to take all the documentation to the DVLA, the office nearest you along with the bike so they can check the VIN.
Then they give you an official form with which you can get the number plate, the V5C follows in the post.
Insurance can be a bitch as not many companies insure a bike only using the VIN.

HI Peter,

You will need a set of headlights or at least the lenses to make them dip to the left instead of the right, everything else should be ok.
