[St] Let's get this straight



The oil is to be checked off the center stand in an upright position.
Simply remove from center stand.
Hold bike upright with right hand.
Bend down and look in sight glass and make sure level is about mid point.
If your bike has a dipstick simply unscrew dipstick with left hand.
Remove dipstick and check level.
Removed right hand and pour in needed oil before gravity takes over.
Grab bike again with right hand.
Try to start dipstick with left hand.
Let go with right hand and hold bike with left knee and balance safely.
get dip stick started.
Grab bike with right hand as the bike tilts.
Pick dipstick up with left hand as it has now fallen on the ground.
Install dipstick per above.
Think.
Remove dipstick as above.
Inspect dipstick for dirt picked up from floor when dipstick fell..
Balance bike with left knee.
Stretch eight feet and get shop rag to wipe dipstick.
Wipe dipstick after rubbing knee where bike has dug into flesh.
Grab bike with right hand.
Try to start dipstick with left hand.
Balance bike against left knee as you start dipstick with right hand.
Grab bike with right hand and left hand as it tilts and you tire.
Pinch dipstick between frame and left knee to keep it from falling on
floor.
Hold bike with right hand, slightly relieve pressure with left knee, grab
dipstick with left hand.
Stick dipstick in filler hole and rub left knee.
Think.
Put bike on side stand.
Install dipstick.
Think.
Was the oil level really OK?
