[St] 2006 vs 2008

Just wondering what some of the differences between the 08's and previous year models (05-07).  I see some good deals on non-current models still sitting in showrooms, but I thought I heard they had improved the 2008's.  I am continuing to find imperfections in my bike from where it had been wrecked before that nag me to no end and maybe would like something new if it were the right bike for the right price.
