[St] In field footpeg replacement

I'm camping again. Unfortunately I dropped my bike and broke the right
footpeg hitting some soft rock substrate.
I have a replacement but am 200mi from nearest shop.
Looks like a spirol pin holds the retaining pin for the footpeg in
place?
How should this job be done?
