Bill, depending on what year I'd sure look at the wiring harness where it
goes from the frame to the ignition switch area.
Early ones were zip ties too tightly and causes insulation/wire breakage
but that was easily fixed with a snip of the old and a new zip tie properly
installed.
Other then that they are pretty bullet proof.
