Re: [St] Quiet List...Lets talk tires or at least good

The most recent previous tires on my '04 Sprint ST were Stradas and I liked
them rather well. They were replaced last summer with Bridgestone BT 021s
front and back. New tires after the break in usually feel better than the
old skins, so I find it difficult to accurately assess which is better. My
other bike is a 675 Daytona with Super Corsa Pros and the Sprint never ever
feels as nimble as that. But I really like the BT 021s on the Sprint.

I have found SW Moto to be a good source, too. I ordered a set of tires a
while back one day and the delivery guy was knocking on my door before 0800
the next day. But then I live in San Diego County, a relatively short go
from their facility.

As to specific tires, I would say that for most riders (me included) there
are a lot of good tires that have capabilities well beyond our abilities to
feel the differences. The subject (which is the best tire) is good fodder
for winter debates when the poor unfortunates in the cold climes are left
with little other mo'cycle activity than tire and oil thread discussions.
Poor b------s.

No riding today due to rain and being focused on the upcoming trip to
Africa.
