I believe there is a difference in the main side panels from when they
moved the alternator(?) mid model.  I know Capt Serlick knows the
answer.  :0)

Yes it will fit.  I used multipule year models to put my 99 back
together about I wrecked it a couple of years ago.  Pretty much all of
the plastic is interchangable from 99 to 04 (or whenever they did the
major body change.  I don't recall the exact year right now).

Will a main fairing from an '03 fit my '99?  I need to replace my rashed
panel and I found one at a semi-decent price.  Does require a repaint,
