Someone recently posted about a friend who restored old Honda's - perhaps
you could pass this question on for me? I have a 1972 or 3 xl250 dual sport
that is in pretty good condition. Clean out the carbs and give it a good
washing and you would be good to go short term. Long term, replace the
chain and some other wearables (but not the tires). I have a friend who is
interested in buying it, since I seem to be blasting around on either my 03
Sprint ST or my 03 Yamaha 200 dual sport (WIDE TIRES - loads of fun) and the
Honda is sitting in the shed. The question I have is what to ask for it. I
checked out E-bay and found lots of wild prices, all the way up to 3K US.
Since it is a bit of an antique to some degree, does that add to the value
really?
ST content - time for a valve adjustment - dealer or self service -
opinions? special tools, cost etc?
Oil change - what colour cap for Mobile 1 - OIL THREAD (sorry, running and
ducking - couldn't resist)
