Re: [St] Tank Grip for Pre-05s

This is to increase friction between my knees and the tank. The bike is cleaned as "regularly" as I normally do (read: couple of times/year or in when it rains) so no slippery cleaners/polishes on the seat, and the bike is stored indoors (so no extended sun bleaching of the seat).

The urban roads are pretty bad and my commute is beating up my arms. I need to get more purchase with my legs.

I do have the scratch protector on the back of the tank to minimize the jacket scratches, and have considered the film mentioned for areas that my tank bag straps contact the tank.

Todd, is this about protecting the tank from scratches or the
slippiness of the seat? I only had the slide if id cleaned the seat
and was wearing cordura. Otherwise i havent had this problem for ages
to protect the tank i am putting on invisible film (www.invisiblefilm.co.uk)
Another solution may also be with the knees/thighs and having a better
grip there.

suggestions for tank grip? Find any precut for the Triumph or a pattern that
fits well? Clear would be my preference but I am open to colors.
