Re: [St] New front calipers

Hey John,

Do a search on triumphrat.net for many novels on the subject.

The problem was found to be two main things after much trial and error and
many, many discussions some just a little "heated", shall we say.

First, the caliper pistons get gunked up and sticky, there by lever travel is
reduced.

Second, there seems to be air getting into the system from "somewhere" a lot
of people seemed to deduce that this was from the master cyclinder.

Not all bikes are effected. Some had both symptoms, some only one.

Like you said, it would seem to defy logic, explanation, common sense and at
times the laws of physics!

Do either action independantly and chances are you will notice a difference.
Or as many have done, get a complete system from a 'busa or ZZR and never
think about it again!

Brett.
