Re: [St] ST replacement

Well,

I know of a friend of mine that just sat on a factory option low config.
BMW F800ST on the floor up at Max BMW in NH.

Unfortunately I don't know his height but he rides a R1100R and just had
1.5" lower shocks installed so he could flat foot it.

While he was there he saw the ST and thought oh My, sitting on it he
was flat foot bent knee!

A quick google finds: Std seat height is 32.3" A no cost option low
seat brings it to 31.1 and then a low suspension option ($175) that
reduces seat height by 2.4 inches ends up at 28.7" seat height.

I know it's not a Triumph, but if you are looking for a short seat, you
really need to dig deeper into available options. Before yesterday I
never knew that the factory low option was available and it's not like
it's widely advertised.

Dude,

Point me to those reviews, 'cause where Jermemy and I are standing (at
around 5'5"), the only bike out there for me is the Monster 696. The
675 Street triple is only .5 inches lower at the seat. Not even enough
to notice, but enough to be able to say "lower seat height."
